This article discussed the purpose of our forums, and how we manage them.

Over our time existing as a website, weโ€™ve continued to evolve our forum area. We hope to have a longer life on the web than other sites that deal in the topics of chasing STIs, even if those topics are not their primary goal. We are not a porn site. While there may at times be videos and pictures that are interesting; that isnโ€™t our purpose. Where those do get posted, we periodically clean those out. For that sort of content places like BreedingZone, BarebackRT, ThisVid, NastyKinkPigs are better places to find porn. New sites like that appear reasonably often; and we donโ€™t see ourselves as their โ€œfront manโ€. As the laws around porn sites are growing ever more restrictive; we would rather leave the management and compliance aspects required to those sites.

Anyone can view our articles, obviously including this article. One does not need forum access to read them. We are to that extent a source of information about HIV; and to what chasing is; without otherwise advocating it. There are plenty of accurate and valid arguments against chasing. We donโ€™t need to either advocate for it or argue against it. But rather give a place for one to openly express oneโ€™s own interest and come to oneโ€™s own reconciliation of the topic for themselves. Forums are to engage your brain primarily. ๐Ÿ˜Š

The forums are not viewable until one asks for, and is granted, access. When access is granted, it is first to the introductory forum. One introduces oneself to a community of fellows who are, at least, feeling what might be an odd draw to the idea of chasing themselves; often following reading about someone chasing and finding themselves quite aroused as a result. If one does not post there within a few days of requesting access, we simply delete the account. Most of the time when one has introduced themselves, we grant access to the full forum; sometimes referred to as the backroom; but really, itโ€™s just a step, get access, introduce yourself, see the whole forum.

When we grant access to the forums that you might have requested, we send you a welcome letter. Yes, it contains a lot of words; but the point of our forums is the written word. Your posts are expected. Reading and writing is an essential part of this site. And participation in the forum is active.

Periodically we review each account to look at whether or not one logs in; and secondly when we see that one has not posted in a while; we send a DM. Simply replying to the DM wonโ€™t be enough. The expectation is that youโ€™ll sign in and participate. That DM is mostly to alert the one with forum access that theyโ€™ve stopped posting. If they are done, at least for now, and one has been an active participant (lots of posts), we simply suspend the account. And if youโ€™ve read elsewhere, some will simply request account suspension. Same rules will apply though; if youโ€™ve only made a couple of posts, weโ€™ll probably delete them and your account. But if youโ€™ve been an active participant most likely weโ€™ll simply suspend the account. If you want to change profile or identity information, write to us, that is easy to accommodate.

If you suddenly see that your forum access is gone, and you want to get back in, simply write to us. It might be the case you only made a handful of posts and replies, and in those cases, we typically delete those posts and then delete the account. That is because if one barely writes at all, it is unlikely that pattern is going to change. Otherwise, and in the majority of cases, weโ€™ve simply suspended the account; and upon request we can reactivate it; understanding that youโ€™ll be an active participant.
